The Capital Projects Department is responsible for administration of the District's Bond and Capital Levy projects.  This involves managing the planning, design and construction of new facilities, as well as the modernization and renovation of existing school buildings and other facilities.

The funding for school construction, facility improvements, and property purchases mostly comes from local voters through bond and levy elections. These funds are separate from the district's general fund and by law, cannot be used for day-to-day operations or to address budget shortfalls.

Bond Planning

It is time to begin another Capital Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC) to prepare for a future capital bond, most likely in 2026. We would like to include representation from across the district including parents, staff, high school students and community members. Meetings will begin in January of 2025 and will generally meet the first and third Tuesday of the month. Specific meetings dates and times are noted on the attached interest form.

If you are interested in serving on the Bond Advisory Committee, please
follow the below link to complete the ParentSquare form by Nov. 29. Selected members will be notified by mid-December.

If you know of any community members who may be interested in this committee and don’t have access to ParentSquare, they can complete
the online Google form below. Thank you for helping us spread the word!
