Graduation Requirements

Graduating Class of 2021 and Beyond
The State Board of Education and the Mukilteo School District have adopted rules for students to graduate from high School. Students must meet requirements in order to recieve a high school diploma. They must:  

  • Earn 24 high school credits
  • Complete a High School and Beyond Plan that covers all four years of high school and one year following graduation
  • Demonstrate career and college readiness through one of eight graduation pathway options that align with students' high school and beyond plans (HSBPs), in keeping with rules adopted by the State Board of Education.

Students in the Class of 2021 qualifying for special education services may earn a Certificate of Individual Achievement as determined by their Individualized Education Plan.
