Our Middle Schools

Our middle schools are designed for exploration, growth, and connection during these important bridge years. Students are encouraged to try new things, take healthy risks, and discover what excites them in a supportive, welcoming environment. A wide variety of clubs and activities, such as leadership, art and creative clubs, culture and affinity groups, and service opportunities, give students meaningful ways to get involved and build friendships.

The school day is intentionally structured to support both academic and personal growth. Students engage in strong core instruction in math, science, and language arts, along with social studies, while also exploring electives like band, orchestra, choir, and broadcasting. Advisory and support systems help students stay organized, build positive habits, and feel connected to trusted adults.

After school, students can participate in athletics and activity programs that emphasize teamwork, skill-building, and school pride. At every level, Mukilteo School District middle schools focus on helping students gain confidence, develop independence, and prepare for a successful transition to high school, while still enjoying the experience of being a middle schooler.
