Maintenance and Grounds

Maintenance person working on a building project

The Maintenance Department is responsible for all aspects of maintaining the interior and exterior of our twenty-four school district facilities (approximately 2.2 million square feet of built environment), and our Grounds Team cares for the property and habitat surrounding each facility (approximately 350 acres in total). The department is comprised of skilled and dedicated Grounds Crew and Maintenance Technicians who work year-round and are on-call 24/7 to keep the facilities in the best condition possible to enhance and promote learning and maintain a safe environment for our students and staff.

The IncidentIQ logo features a stylized 'Q' with a line extending from it, followed by the text 'incidentIQ' and a registered trademark symbol.

Mukilteo School District uses Incident IQ, a cloud-based maintenance work ticketing program, to manage work orders across the district.
