Kindergarten School Assignments

Many elementary schools will have their own kindergarten programs. Some students will attend Pathfinder Kindergarten Center based on their home address. Pathfinder is located behind Fairmount Elementary School on Beverly Park Road.

Pathfinder Kindergarten Center
Pathfinder will host ALL kindergarten students who live in the school boundaries for the following elementary schools for the 2026-27 school year*:

  • Fairmount
  • Lake Stickney
  • Olivia Park

Kindergartens at neighborhood schools:
If you have a kindergarten student, and your address is assigned to the following elementary schools, they will host ALL their own kindergarten classes for the 2026-27 school year*:

  • Challenger
  • Columbia
  • Discovery
  • Endeavour
  • Horizon
  • Mukilteo
  • Odyssey
  • Picnic Point
  • Serene Lake

*If any of these schools reach class capacity in all their kindergarten classrooms, then students may be assigned to Pathfinder Kindergarten Center or another elementary school.

Don't know which school your kindergartener would typically attend? Use our online tool and choose first grade for your student's grade. This will show the school that your address is assigned to.

Immunization Requirements

The vaccines required for school attendance are established by the State of Washington. New students must be current in immunizations to attend school. According to state law, students who are out of compliance with immunization requirements must be excluded from school until those conditions are met. Learn more about the state’s immunization requirements on the district immunizations website.

For more information about kindergarten classes, please contact the elementary school in your neighborhood or call the school district’s Elementary Education office at 425-356-1209.
