Staff Password Change Directions

Method One: Change on District Device

  • If you have a district-provided mobile device, such as a Surface tablet or laptop, you can change your password on your device.
  • Log in with your username and current password.
  • If your password is expired, you will be prompted to change it.

If your password is not yet expired, you can trigger the change:

  1. On your keyboard, press the keys ctrl + alt + del
  2. Choose ‘Change a password’ from the menu
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your password change

Method Two: Change Using the Update Password Page

  1. Visit the update password page.
  2. Enter your full username@mukilteo.wednet.edu, your old password, and your new password, and confirm your new password.
  3. Submit to set your new password.

This will update your password on Clever, Google, Office 365, Qmlativ, and any other sites that you access using your Mukilteo School District login information.

Important: If you changed your password using this method on your District device, you should sign out and back in with your new password.

Method Three: Change on Own Device Using District Email Portal: Outlook Web App

Note: only use this method if you did not bring your district device home.

Use a computer to navigate to the district home web page at mukilteoschools.org.

Near the bottom of the district home page in the Quick Links section, find and click the link to Outlook Web Access (Staff Email).

Login to Outlook Web Access (OWA) with your username and current password.

If your password is expired, you will be prompted to change it.

If your password is not yet expired, you can trigger the change:

  1. On your browser screen, click the gear icon in the upper right corner
  2. Click Change password
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your password change.

TIPS:

  1. Do not try to change your password via OWA on your phone. The mobile device version of OWA does not display the gear icon.
  2. If you receive an error message on the password change page, open a new tab or new window and type in the web address instead of using a link to get to the email page.
    Type in mail.mukilteoschools.org/owa/
