As we welcome the new year, we are excited to look back on calendar year 2025. Because the school year stretches across two calendar years, the highlights you are about to see capture achievements from parts of two academic years. Together, they tell the story of students growing and learning, families partnering with us, and a community that shows up for one another.
We are proud and grateful to share this snapshot of all we accomplished together in 2025!
Learning, Growth, and Readiness
Our nearly 15,000 students spent 178 days learning, growing, and connecting with teachers and staff.
The district offered 50 approved Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses aligned to high-demand careers.
By taking more than 1,250 Advanced Placement (AP) exams, high school students earned college credit worth thousands in future tuition savings and achieved the highest number of scores of 3 or higher in district history.
We welcomed nearly 1,000 new kindergarten students and celebrated the graduation of more than 1,000 students who left our schools career- and college-ready.
Whole-Child Experiences
More than 3,000 students participated in school athletics, supporting wellness and academic success, with access to dozens of athletic teams, clubs, and extracurricular opportunities across all grade levels.
More than 13,000 students engaged in music, arts, and theater, fostering creativity, collaboration, and student voice.
Care, Belonging, and Well-Being
Nearly 2 million free meals were served, ensuring students were fueled and ready to learn.
Bus drivers traveled nearly 1.3 million miles to safely transport students to and from school and activities.
Community Connection
More than 3,000 registered volunteers supported learning across our schools.
Community groups spent 20,000 hours hosting events and activities in our school buildings, which served as community hubs for learning, connection, and enrichment beyond the school day.
A Community Rich in Languages and Cultures
Families and students in our district speak 116 languages, reflecting a diverse and welcoming community.
