This fall, students at Mukilteo Elementary will return to school with a brand-new classroom building featuring ten modern classrooms, restrooms, and a new accessible playground. For the first time on campus, classrooms include full-size windows, bringing natural light into learning spaces that were previously dark.
Funded by voter-approved bonds in 2020, the project was completed on time and on budget despite rising construction costs. This project is phase 1 of a phased approach to facility improvements, allowing the district to manage debt responsibly and respond to community feedback before moving forward with future phases.
